Keepit Upbeat AI (“Keepit”, “we”) is a brand of SNB Technologies. It sends parents the outline (“backbone”) of bedtime stories through WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
On WhatsApp, Keepit's storyteller is called Chatty (the koala in the chat). For now Keepit shares its WhatsApp number with Chatty AI, a separate assistant with its own terms; your Keepit stories are stored separately from it. Send “Hi Keepit Upbeat” to come back to Keepit.
Who uses Keepit
Keepit is for parents and other adults who tell stories to children. It is not meant to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
What we collect
- WhatsApp details: your phone number and WhatsApp profile name, which WhatsApp shares with us when you message Keepit.
- Your messages: the story requests you send (text, or voice notes, which we transcribe) and the story outlines we send back.
- Subscription details: whether you are subscribed and until when. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type when you visit our website.
A child's first name and age are optional and only used to write the story you asked for. Please don't send other details about your child; we never ask for them.
How we use it
- to write and send the story outlines you request, and to adapt a story when you ask for changes;
- to manage your free story, your subscription and the daily story limit;
- to keep the service secure and working, and to answer your questions.
We do not sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Meta (WhatsApp) carries the messages between you and Keepit.
- OpenAI generates the story outlines and transcribes voice notes, from the content of your requests.
- Our payment provider processes subscription payments.
- Our hosting providers (Heroku, Cloudflare) run the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages and account while you use Keepit, and delete them when you ask us to. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and you can stop using Keepit at any time. Write to [email protected].
